Dave first joined Cloth of Gold in 2003. Most of his archery took place within the target archery club, Hampstead Bowmen. Although target archery is his first love Dave is very keen to become involved in field archery.

Dave is married to Ann with a son and a daughter Ben (11) and Megan (6). Ben joined at the same time as his dad, and both shoot Compound Unlimited. Dave has also shot both target and field with the longbow. He has shown over the last few years he is very keen to continue to get more and more involved in the field archery scene. He and Ben attend local Open Shoots whenever they can but due to his work commitment weekend shoots are a little difficult.

He is very keen to promote field archery and is in the process of trying to invite a group of his target archery friends to take part in a group field shoot. When time permits he gets involved in the field archery scene. At our recent Wassails Shoot he in partnership with Shaun Grunden was responsible for producing all twenty targets; this was a fine shoot which was enjoyed by all who took part. If Dave continues to become involved with Cloth of Gold, then target archery could find it will have to take a back seat.
