Archery Bow Making
Any 1 know where I can get some good wood in Nashville Tn. to make a bow for Archery?
Any lumber yard should carry oak, maple, or hickory, all of which should suffice for a home made board bow. I believe red oak is preferred and it needs to be hard maple. Look for a board with the straightest grain possible. Many more types of boards would also suffice, along with being available at said lumber yard. White ash, walnut, pecan, mulberry, etc, etc....
