How to shoot arrow correctly (straight) in archery?
I'm taking archery in fitness class, and I'm really good at shooting hard and straight, but when I aim at the bulls eye i always shoot about a foot to the right of where i aim. My teacher told me to open my chest cavity and pull back to the right corner of my lip, but its still not going where I aim. Help please! Thanks! 
Even if I picture a mental bulls eye to more to the left, the arrow still goes to the same spot.
Assuming you're a right handed archer, which means you hold the bow with your left hand and draw the string with your right. Arrows to the right can mean these different things
-Your head is tilted to the right, this is very common, most beginners seem to want to presight the bow as they're drawing, this usually end up with the top of their head tilting to the right of the Bow String. Solution, try the olympic style anchor, string to the chin, hand under the jaw, touch the tip of your nose to the string.
-Collapsing, this is when your bow arm loses tension for just a split second after the shot. Now what distance are you shooting from? Slight loss of tension on the bow arm can make your arrow go right if you're a right handed archer. Solution, either strengthen your bow shoulder or keep them lined up as much as you can to your shoulder, imagine a straight line from the Bow Grip, up your bow arm to the bow shoulder, your neck and all the way to the other side of the shoulder.
-Weak arrow spine, this one is unlikely since you said your arrows are flying straight.
The distance from you to your target is very important in addition to how far off the bullseye you're shooting. A foot from 10m away is huge, but a foot from 25m is not.
