Beginner Archery Set
Should I Buy a Custom Bow and Arrow Set?
Hey Guys, I am a beginner in Archery and I am contemplating buying a Bow and Arrow set. I had the Hoyt Turbohawk in mind and I was hesitant because of the amount of money that I was going to put into it. I have been to the Archery Range about 5 times previously and stopped because the rates there were expensive when you rent their equipment. That was when I figured that If i Bought my own bow, it might be worth it more. I like the sport and I want to Keep it as a sport, but the price tag just seems like a lot. If this helps: I have a 29" draw length and I pull back around 40-45 pounds. I was figuring that if i have the money (fortunately i do) and I was going to keep the sport, I might as well go for a better bow. So what Are your opinions? Do you guys think i should buy the bow? Appreciate the answers!
BTW: I know this is usually a Hunting Bow, But ive heard that this bow was a good bow overall and I am using it for target.
Hoyt makes a great product. Buy the bow. If you love the sport you need to invest in your own equipment.Let the archery shop guide you in the process, because the bow has to fit you in order for you to maximize it's accuracy and enjoyment of shooting. Go for it. You will never regret getting into archery. Good luck!
