How do you make a good bow and a few arrows out of nothing but nature?
I have made a bow and a few arrows out of nature but they aren't good enough to shoot strait. And the tip are nothing but stiff leaves so they bend a lot. I cant get pampus grass into a point or else it just breaks in half. The bow is pretty good but I think it's part of the problem. The arrows don't even have feathers. Can anyone help me? And don't get too complicated. My brain doesn't function that way.
Most of the problem is actually in the arrows -- using leaves as the "points" makes the arrows too light in the front (the "pointy end"), besides the fact that you seem to be using pampus grass as shafting ("cant get pampus grass into a point or else it just breaks in half"). I know pampus grass stalks are thick, almost reedy, but I don't think they're thick enough. Visit the forums and websites listed:

Ask questions (in the appropriate sections, please), you will get answers and help from people who make bows and arrows "out of nature" all the time. There are also links to other websites and forums you might find useful. There are a lot of "tutorials", with pictures, as well, so you can follow along as the bow or arrow is made.
Any stick and string can make a good bow -- but without a good arrow, the bow is just a stick and string.
