Compound bow practicing?
For some reason, i keep hitting the bullseye when i aim about 2 or 3 inches to the left. I cant aim dead on it and hit it. The guy at bass pro shop who sold it to me tried it himself and hit it dead on the first try. Do i need to adjust the scope? Also, my left shoulder is hurting really bad after two or three draws. Why is that?
Assuming you're right handed, and it's a compound bow, check whether or not you're collapsing as you're shooting. You see with a compound bow with a peep on it it really can't be alignment issue. If you're right handed, it can't be eye dominance issue either, since the wrong eye will send you arrow flying in the other direction. Have someone look at you as you shoot and let you know if your bow arm is moving as you press the trigger. The movement can be very small, try to feel it out yourself, as a simple thing like putting your hand in the wrong position is enough to send the arrow off 2 or 3 inches from 40 yards(you also didn't mention how far you were from the target).
