Where can I find a compound bow that has 80 or 90ibs limbs?
I'm a not exactly the tallest guy in the world but I could easily handle a 80-90 pound limbs to account for my draw length and was wondering where I could find a compound bow that has a pull that maxes out to 80or90pounds. I was looking at Darton on their website but they only go to 70...if you know of where I could find what I'm looking for I'd really appreciate it.
Several years ago I had a Martin bow that I wanted to buy but wanted 80 limbs on it.I got the local archery shop to contact the company and they made me a set of limbs for the bow that actually maxed out at 83 lbs. That was in the days when I had more strength then sense. You may go to the nearest bow shop and they can tell you of any companies that make a bow limb that strong. But here is some realistic advice. I now shoot 60-70 lbs and and can consistently have total pass through on white tail deer and hogs and will have to pull the arrow out of the ground when I retrieve it. The only thing that matters in bow hunting is accuracy, not speed, and not excessive power.
