what were the Compound Bows in the 1980s and 1990s made out of?
i know the limbs were graphite but what was the rizer made out of
The first compound I bought back in 84 had fiberglass limbs with a vandium steel rizer and the thing weighed almost 9 pounds. I shot it for two years and then found one with an aluminum rizer that I bent in two months. If you have one of these "oldies" I'd use it as a conversation piece only.
