Head Crossbow Tennis Racket

Should I get the Head Crossbow 10 or Prince O3 Speedport Tennis Racquet?

I consider my NTRP to be 4.5

Head Crossbow 10: http://www.tennis-experts.com/head-crossbow-10.html

best choice with best facts gets 5 stars for best answer

Well, to be honest these racquets aren't really comparable. With the Crossbow 10 you are going to get a game improvement racquet (beginner), whereas with the Speedport you are going to get a more intermediate stick. Some of the major differences here are 1.) The head size. The Crossbow has a 124 sq. in. head size and the Speedport has a 100 sq. in. head size. 2.) The weight of the racquet. The Crossbow is very light coming in at 9.3 oz (unstrung) and the Speedport is a lot heavier at 11.2 oz (strung). And 3.) the balance of the racquets are completely different, the Crossbow is head heavy and Speedport is head light.

All that being said... if you are looking for a really powerful racquet with a large sweet spot and that's going to do a lot of the work for you definitely go with the Crossbow. But, if you are looking for a racquet that is going to offer more control go with the Speedport. The Speedport is going to be a racquet that I think you will be happy with for a while, it's one you can grow with as a player. You're game will not be stifled with the Speedport and that could be a potential problem with the Crossbow.

If you aren't completely sold on one or the other I would recommend demoing both of these racquets, so that you can compare them side-by-side and really decide for yourself which racquet will better suit your game.
