Long Bow Recurve
What type of bow and arrow is best?
Long bow, Recurve or compound. Hunters use compounds but they are boring to me because there to easy, so which is better for hunting, shooting, long bow or recurve also why
* I prefer the Traditional Re-curve Bow without any sights on it, and no quiver.* I wear a hip quiver.* A 45Lb is the Ideal weight for a Hunting Bow.* A 55Lb Bow will Harvest any Game in North America.* It is unnecessary, and not needed to go any Higher than 55Lb's.* If you put sights and a quiver on a Bow it adds to the weight of the bow and also slows the arrow down when shot from the Bow.*.. You don't need Sights on a Bow, it just adds to the cost and they really are not necessary.* A 54 inch Bow is Best.* I use Cedar wood arrows because they penetrate better and were good enough to use to harvest Game a long time ago, and still are today.* They also cost a lot less $$$, but very lethal and deadly on Game.* It is a lot more of a Challenge to use a Re-curve Bow and more rewarding personally to harvest Game with it.*
