Fund Raise for Hunt?
Hey everyone I am 15 and have been planning to go on a northern big game hunt in Canada for Caribou with my longbow. I have saved over $1500 in the past couple of years not thinking I would be allowed to go, but this year, my parents decided that if I made the money I could go and they would pay for the airfare (I live in Texas). I need some ways to get a couple thousand more...three to four thousand would be prefferable...and would like suggestions on how to do it. All I can come up with besides a car wash is maybe setting up a stand in front of Sportsmen's Warehouse or Cabela's and having people put money down on if I could make a shot anywhere from 15-40 yards, and if I hit any of the targets, they will pay money(of course if I hit the 40 yarder they pay the most). Maybe I could have complementary lemonade and other perks like that. If they even ask me to shoot, they will be benefitting to the cause more than just oweing me if you know what I mean. I need ideas not jobs thanks!

Are you kidding me? When I was 15 I had a paper route and mowed 4 lawns a week. I appreciate your ambition to hunt big game but what you are asking for is something alot of grown men wait a lifetime to get. Get a job, save you money, get a good education, then get a good job, save some more money, pay your student loans off, save more money to take care of your family, and then save some more money and if you are lucky you will get the hunt you want by the time your are 35 or 40.
By the way Sportsmens Warehouse and Cabelas will say no.
