Recurve Longbow Deer
Longbow or Recurve for hunting?
I would like to know the Pros and Cons of each I might be hunting (deer or smaller) in denser cover Whats more durible Or get something like a short longbow? What would be better? any suggestions on a bow ($350 maximum)? 40-45 lbs
The durability factor will be the same for either of the bows. But since the cover you are going to hunt in is dense, the recurve would be the better choice. The 40 - 45 lb range is also good for your purposes (dense cover, short range) Look at the available bows that each manufacturer makes.All major bow makers will have a line up of recurve bows to choose from. Traditional archery is making a slow solid come back. Good luck!
