Wealth Creation in steroids
Mama and Papa Said
You probably have this set (or a combination thereof) from your parents heard. "Go to school, get a good education and get a good job." In a way it like a mantra for most people has become. It happens me, and actually for most people I know. I'm sure they mean well. They wanted to, we have a better life. They wanted us to have more than them. They wanted nothing but Success. It is reckoned higher education the way to create wealth, or is it?
How many people that you know, went this route and are now financially well there? How many still have a job? How many highly educated friends of yours are without a job? How many are worried about their work and their future?
The Department of Health Education and Welfare has mentioned that most people are about 95% of them are dead broke or still working at age 65? Not a good statistic at all.
Now why is that? This is America ...
Cashflow Quadrant
Let me borrow some ideas from bestselling author Robert Kiyosaki and his book, cash flow quadrant;
Mr. Kiyosaki said: "There are only 4 ways to create wealth or to earn money."
Picture of a cake into 4 quadrants, divided on the left is the E (employee) side, and right below it is the S (self). Now on the right side are the B (Business) and I (investment) right below it.
The left side of the quadrant is called the active site, where a person is time to make money. You must perform physically, to get paid. Ninety percent the people are on this page and controls 5% of the wealth.
The right side is the leverage side, where a person of wealth creation grows exponentially with or without active trading hours and / or money. Five percent of the population is on this page and controls the other 95% of the wealth.
So most of us trained to think and work on the left side of the Cashflow Quadrant. We are taught and trained (in school), have become good employees and not contractors. We are trained, attend to participate in the 5% instead of the 95% share of "wealth" pie.
Old School vs. New School
I was with a group successful people in one evening and asked her about this. Most of them agree. The mantra of good education, they say, is really old school. Which occurs during of the industrial age have been working but we are now in the Internet age.
When America lost its manufacturing base in China a few decades, large Things changed over time. Much of the industrial age thinking and rules are not effective as they were. Wealth creation is a new vehicle, they say, it is get on the internet.
Not long ago, most parents work for a company with a solid retirement package. Mom's stayed at home because of an income enough for most families to support.
In today's world, dual incomes are challenged financially. Both parents work two jobs each together. Why? Income outpaces inflation and taxes and the cost of living increase.
While all this going on unemployment are rising. Good jobs were sent abroad without any chance of them ever get replaced. High-paying jobs reserved well or well-trained employees are no longer safe.
Wanted more millionaires
Now, America still offers the greatest opportunity on earth. Adapting to change in this country you have strength. The Internet is a bright spot where the Americans can move a claim for contribution against success.
And believe me, there are people from all walks of life, the has a house and property with the power of the Internet found.
Actually, there have been more self-made millionaire in this country in the last 15 years than in its entire history combined. Most of them are online or using the Internet as a vehicle.
Coincidence or not, it's about the same time, if the Internet figured out brains a way to become profitable. That was when the Internet started to take off the trade and never looked back.
A good example of creating wealth online comes in the name of Michael Dell. Yes, you guessed it right - Dell Computer.
is a long story short, his parents learned that her son Michael did not attend class as it is. He was told that if he does not change the course and go back to school, he will be out of his dorm and on his own. Little did Mom and Dad know that then her son Michael is already thousands of money tweaking, building and selling computers over the Internet. Talk about wealth creation in steroids.
Wealth Creation New Name
How about the young guns of Amazon, eBay, Google, Facebook and other social media giants, the extremely rich to very early age was. Some of them were not old enough to have control of a business change, if it is launched.
See where it now are. They gave the wealth creation on a new meaning.
Most of us know that many of them were school dropouts, as well. We are not trying to downplay education and here to glorify school leaving. This is not my intention at all.
In fact, I think that to go to school and get your diploma or Masters or even PhD are large. Education for me is still the foundation with great success.
My suggestion is to apply time tested skills learned in school or college and mix it with new sets of tools, the Internet is one of them, drive to succeed.
Yes, I would recommend you to go "to school get a good education ... "and now working on the B-side of the cash flow quadrant and use a new vehicle to create wealth - on the internet!
