Archery Bow Kit
can anyone give advice on archery.?
Is the Winstar 2 riser a good buy. I have a limited budget and would like to get the best I can afford and this seems to be about it , is it a good piece of kit, also also with cost in mind what limbs would be good to go with it, I have been having lessons and was told I am about ready to buy my first bow but what is the best to buy. any advice would be appreciated
I have a friend who's shooting really well with his winstar 2. It's a nice looking riser, haven't heard of any of them having catastrophic failures. With risers, it really comes down to whether or not you like the looks and the grip.
As for the limbs, I'd say get the cheapest pair you can find. You'll probably replace those in a matter of months as you get stronger. When you've reached your target weight then you can go after the good limbs. Limbs do affect accuracy more than the riser.
