Youth Archery Dnr in Minnesota?
I just signed up for archery for youth in Minnesota for a yellow zone, area 274. The lady working at gander helping us get our tags said That i may take either sex deer with my archery tag. But the book says i have to do a lottery. When she signed it up, she said the machine didnt ask her to enter the lottery, as it normally does (she said they system has a bug). So can you please help me?
My question is: Can I take either sex deer with my Youth Archery tag in zone 274, or do i have to apply for the lotttery?
zone 274 is the little point in west mn that sticks into south dakota.
i looked at those, but was confused.
i dont want to shoot a doe to only find out that i was illegal

It looks like you will not have to put in for the lottery, but only youth archery can on a limited basis.
