I am afraid poor
old Dave Piercy got the wooden spoon because his luck was right out the
window. He hit too many penguins and not
enough parcels. But Stan Seymour‘s luck
was in he got the highest score of the day of 320. By out thinking the
devious
course setters he hit three parcels for 90 points on one target.
Everyone at
some time during the course was caught out by the carefully thought out
target
settings. Many thanks must go to Wally Robson who kept the whole group
supplied
with warm Mull Wine and Mince pies.
The club organised prizes for the
top score
and bottom score in each gender. So Stan Seymour took the male top
score and
Dave Peircy the lowest but he still did better than the rest of us,
because he
took home a bottle of wine. The junior Boys were the same with Ben
Humphries
Top Score and Kieron Grundon the lowest. The female winner was Shirley
Seymour
and the wooden spoon went to Lesley Burton-Brown, the Cubs all went
home
happy with a
bag of goodies each. After the formalities were completed all went home
feeling
they have had an enjoyable days shooting.
Well
Done Cloth
of Gold Members. We had
another successful Shoot.
