How to lern to shoot a bow instinctively?
Ok so i have whitetail Hunter Compound Bow WITHOUT sights, its set at 50 lbs. I hope to buy a longbow soon, i was lokking at the 68" seqoia longbow from cabelas for $229, does anyone have this bow? and if so how does it shoot?

I shoot a recurve instinctively. The only way to learn is to get out there and throw some arrows. The key to accurate shooting is a consistent, solid anchor. One thing that really help me in field shooting is to do a bunch of stump shooting. Take your bow on a hike and try and hit that pine cone, that clump of grass, that discarded can, that stump ETC. This is the best way I've found to train yourself to judge range an is lots of fun besides. There is a field point called a Judo Point. It's a blunt with four short springs sticking out. When you shoot the springs catch and kick the arrow up and really saves you a bunch of lost arrows. I rarely lose an arrow with Judos on it.
